The Honda Pilot’s single body assembly and independent suspension are designed to provide car-like handling. This vehicle faces stiff competition from solid trucks like the Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, Hyundai Veracruz, GMC Acadia twin, Mazda CX-9 and Toyota Highlander. The Pilot is a mid-size crossover sport utility vehicle offered with four trim levels. The 2010 Honda Racer model includes the Honda LX Racer, the Honda EX Racer, the Honda EX-L Racer, and the Honda Touring Racer. Each of these models is available with either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive.

The 2010 driver is armored with a 3.5L capacity V6 engine with front-wheel drive as a standard option and an optional all-wheel drive with automatic power delivery to the rear wheel by up to 70 percent. The power train will be mated with a five-speed automatic transmission. This power source is also built-in with a driver-selectable lockout feature that directs maximum torque to the rear wheel at less than 19 MPH. The 2010 Pilot is offered in a utilitarian exterior styling. The interior is offered with blocks and resistant.
