3 Amazing Grilled Breakfast Sandwiches to Get Your Day Started Right

Who says you can’t cook breakfast on a grill? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you are enjoying a tasty meal fresh off the grill, you are sure to have a good day ahead! Try it on the weekends – take out the grill and have breakfast with your family in the garden.

Try any of these 3 easy grilled breakfast sandwiches:

Grilled Egg Bacon Cheese Sandwich

What do you need:

  • 1 egg

  • 2 slices of Canadian bacon

  • 2 slices of American cheese

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

  • Salt and pepper

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and cook the egg sunny side up until the yolk is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper and then set aside. Cook the bacon in the same skillet if desired. Place 1 slice of cheese on top of a slice of bread, followed by the hard-boiled egg, slices of bacon, and the remaining slice of cheese. Top with the remaining slice of bread. Spread the outside of each slice of bread with the remaining butter and cook on a preheated grill over medium-low heat until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Egg and Mayo Sandwich Breakfast

What do you need:

  • 4 slices of bread of your choice

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 teaspoons mayonnaise

  • 4 teaspoons of butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a small saucepan, bring the eggs to a boil. Let cool completely before removing the shell. Place the hard-boiled eggs in a bowl and mash them with a fork. Add the mayonnaise to the bowl and mix until the ingredients are well combined.

Spread the butter on a piece of bread and add half of the egg and mayonnaise mixture. Spread another slice of butter and place on top of the prepared bread to make a sandwich. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients. Butter a grill pan and place the sandwiches on top. Cook on a preheated grill over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes.

Grilled Cheese Pancake Sandwich

What do you need:

  • 5 pieces of pancakes freshly cooked

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • Black pepper

  • Maple syrup, for serving

Spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise on a pancake, then sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup mozzarella, and 1 tablespoon Parmesan. Season with a pinch of pepper and top with another pancake. Repeat with the remaining ingredients until you have a 4-layer cheese pancake sandwich.

Place in a grill pan and cook until the cheeses have melted, about 2-3 minutes.
