777 most popular wedding date in years
Choose special wedding dates
Since ancient times, in many cultures, brides and grooms have chosen their wedding date very carefully. Some days have always been preferred to others.
Even today in the US, certain dates are considered more popular than others. Traditionally, Labor Day, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, the Christmas season, and Thanksgiving weekend are most often chosen for wedding celebrations.
This year there is a date that surpasses them all. In fact, some consider it a phenomenon. This special day is July 7, 2007 or 777.
We have interviewed both couples who chose this date as their wedding date and wedding providers, professionals and service providers hired by them.
Reasons for choosing July 7, 2007 as your wedding date
Some of the reasons couples gave us were:
What wedding vendors, professionals and service providers are saying about the July 7, 2007 wedding date
All wedding vendors, professionals, and service providers, without exception, feel very lucky. They were reserved early, some over 2 years ago. Of those who can host more than one wedding that day, most already have waiting lists and we are only in March.
Realizing the popularity of the date, some increased their standard rates. They realized that with so many couples competing for the date, they will get the best price. Brides and grooms are aware of the higher prices and competition for the 777 wedding date and are willing to pay the price to secure it.
We talked to hotels and salons and they are all full. Las Vegas, the wedding capital of the world, has been sold out for quite some time, as have other casino cities.
If you are a couple and need a wedding venue, keep in mind that 777 is in summer and consider the following options:
What if you can’t find a provider?
The OFFICIALS who offer a ceremony location to those we interviewed, suggested that they will hold a ceremony every 45 minutes to an hour until late at night.
WEDDING PLANNERS have been thinking and have come up with ideas for 777 themes for their clients. Some ideas are:

Flexibility and creative brides and grooms
Some of the couples we interviewed, who secured 777 as their wedding date and are flexible, had some pretty creative ideas.
The two that were truly unique were a bride and groom who were willing to SELL their wedding day complete with all the arrangements.
They said they would be happy to change your wedding date for a fee.
Another couple familiar with the tradition in some countries of ‘Community Weddings’ are willing to have a shared wedding as long as the other bride and groom foot the bill for the agreed upon flowers, decorations and entertainment. “This,” the bride said, “will save us money, but it won’t add to the costs of the wedding for the other bride and groom. They’ll still have to pay for flowers, decorations, and entertainment.”
The room will be divided in such a way that the guests of each wedding will be separated from each other.
Some couples seem interested, in fact, they believe it will be a unique wedding experience and will leave lasting and fun memories for both couples.
So why is this date or combination of numbers?
So special and sought after?
