Standing out of the crowd

Standing outside looking in? Who has not experienced the thrill of being excluded, not belonging and not being welcomed? It happens to most conscious people somewhere along the road to adulthood … life out of the crowd. When you are there, you feel like you are your best friend, and maybe your only friend. Did you make a mistake, misjudge something important? How the hell did you get to the lonely window of life from the outside looking in?

You may be surprised to learn that it is more likely you are the one who has changed, you are the one who has dismissed ideas or problems, examined and rejected the insiders. People gravitate towards others who are how they see themselves. Maybe you woke up one day, wide awake, and looked around you, wondering what the hell initially drew you to these people, these ideas, or this way of life. Just before you acknowledge what has changed, you will almost certainly feel that you are no longer acceptable or welcome by those you have unconsciously rejected. The crowds, the masses that reject you are rarely the ones that have changed. They simply recognize that you no longer accept them or their ideals and gravitate toward others who do.

It is the way of life when one reads energy instead of listening to words. It is a much more powerful communication transmission that only transmits the truth; it is much more reliable. Conscious or not, everyone is feeling the energy of the people and situations around them and moving towards those who support what they believe. It takes great courage or a significant life event to redirect your purpose and future. It takes a miracle to change your mind! Purpose, why; Why is it so difficult to change what you believe?

When you decide to accept something as positively true, it requires a total cleansing of the human mind. It is necessary to expel each and every one of the ideas that support what you previously accepted as reality and then closely examine this new one towards which you are gravitating. For many, this means taking off those beloved pink glasses and reading the dazzling calligraphy that has been clearly written on the wall in front of you. What was once considered graffiti or gibberish must become a truth to break out of an old and unhealthy paradigm. It is not so easy to go through this process. This may require you to reject the things you have believed in since childhood and redefine what really happened and why. It is a necessary step to emerge intact, healthy, and ready to live your life successfully, on your own terms. People and things rarely change; it is your perspective that has sharpened as you become insightful and finally whole again. You can see clearly from this new lookout point.

At first, you may feel the need to reject people who have been important to you throughout your life. For some, this is a necessary step to break out of old patterns. As time goes by, you discover that you can accept people and reject the unacceptable about them. It is a process of accepting that it is possible to love someone and hate what they do or what they can represent. It is a necessary growth process that allows respecting the right of others to decide, regardless of their own beliefs. It is tolerance; something that one gains on a new path of maturity in life. No one must be right; rather, they must believe that they are on the right track to achieve their own dreams.

Out of all these changes comes self-respect and an altered perception of why you may not be included as before in the old crowd. It was always your choice; You have been redirected to a new destination that you have voluntarily chosen. So this is living life successfully.
