Be the center of attention at any party in 60 seconds

When you’re the center of attention, everyone’s looking at you and you’re the most attractive person in the room. The center of attention always gets the glory at the end of the night. They are presented with more opportunities for success. The spotlight is even more likely to get picked for the best job, simply because other people notice and because well, they are the spotlight!

Have you ever been to a supermarket that had completely empty shelves? You, like most people, probably did not want to shop at that supermarket. Looking at the scarce products on the shelves, it’s almost as if they are somehow begging you to buy them.

Being the center of attention at a party is similar to a supermarket situation. The more you seem to beg other people to notice you, the less attention you get. Similarly, the more confident you appear to be, the more people you will find who are attracted to you.

The spotlight communicates that they have high status; they do it with great confidence. People in the spotlight know how to unlock superhuman confidence so that people immediately switch to “bystander” mode. Once you have the confidence to storm into any social scene and dominate the room, people give you their full attention and approval. Being more confident that you can be the life of the party means you turn up the volume! Talk much louder. In any given social situation, you will find that the center of attention always speaks much louder than the other people in the group. Talking louder is one of the subtle cues that lets other people know that you are the dominant person in the social group.

Confident body language is loose and scattered. When you move, you move with certainty and conviction. Move in a way that is almost forceful.

Here’s a tip to appear confident, even if you’re lacking: Dress in a way that only a confident person would. Sometimes this can mean dressing a little bold. I once went to a party dressed in a red blazer with an open bare chest. The girls stared at me all night.
