Spice up your sex life with pheromones

You know, I never believed in aphrodisiacs.

Given the fact that I’ve been married for quite a number of years, and no amount of chocolates, oysters, and whatnot has managed to convince my wife to try, um, something new when it comes to sexual explorations… would you know? Where do I come from.

Therefore, I always believed that aphrodisiacs were urban myths invented by people who are either hopelessly optimistic or downright delusional. In the real world, at least in my real world, aphrodisiacs are empty boxes of false promises.

But boy, was I wrong!

I have long heard of pheromones and their rather amazing effects on human sexual intercourse, but have always lumped them in with aphrodisiacs, meaning works of fiction rather than tales of fact. This, despite the growing popularity of pheromones among my network of friends. Although some of them often mispronounce and misspell it as “pheromones”, they nonetheless have an idea of what it is all about.

Pheromone is a chemical substance that animals produce to transmit certain primary messages that provoke an equally primary response. Of course, there is nothing more primitive than sex. The pheromone was first observed in female silkworms that secreted pheromones to attract males of their species at the time of mating. It has been well documented in many insects since then, and in due course scientists have observed the same in mammals.

Pheromones serve as sexual attractants. They have a distinctive scent that appeals to the most basic instincts, particularly those of the opposite sex within the same species.

It was not until 1986 when a group of scientists from Philadelphia discovered the presence of pheromones in humans. Women produce them, and this makes men approach them with great fervor and longing. Males also produce them, and this results in building a connection with the females of our species.

The problem is that the production of pheromones varies from one subject to another. While some may have plenty of this, well, desire hormone, others seem to suffer from a shortage of it.

The solution?

The human pheromone has been cultivated and perfectly integrated with oil, cologne and perfume. Since pheromones appeal to the sense of smell, what better way to convey them than through a variety of scents?

Billy Bob, a college classmate of mine, was the first to order those simply packaged pheromone perfume bottles (which he still insists on being spelled “Phermonas” to this very date).

Within a week of his initial purchase, Billy Bob enthused us about his finds.

“It worked!” I remember him yelling. “My wife isn’t frigid after all!” she added, still with the same animated delight.

I was still hesitant about pheromone perfume, pheromone cologne, pheromone oil and the like at the time, but another friend of ours, Paul, followed Billy Bob’s lead and took the plunge. Now, Paul is quite a character. He is not afraid to try anything. Being that he is gay, he wanted to know if female pheromones would make him more attractive to men.

Guess what?

He tried it out while on vacation in Phuket, Thailand, and claimed he had the time of his life. “If you know what I mean,” she added sheepishly.

With two of my friends claiming the exact same thing, I shared this knowledge with my wife. To my surprise, she knew more about it than I did. It turns out that her cousin Beth, who has long endured fear of a possible divorce, has been hailing Pheromone as the savior of her marriage. According to Beth, her husband became more adventurous and loving since she started using the pheromone perfume.

I’ve read about Eros’s love potion in mythological stories. I have read about love potions in Wiccan lore. I have seen so many movies from my youth involving love potions of all kinds. I have always associated love potions with fiction. And I was never going to accept such a fact as fact… neither in its original form in the myths of yore, nor in what appears to be its current incarnation in pheromone perfumes, cologne oils, and the like.

But when my wife started using it…

Well, suffice it to say that no amount of testimonials would assuage anyone’s doubts when it comes to something as seemingly magical as pheromone, or pheromone as many people call it.

But you’re missing out on some great stuff if you don’t want to try, I could tell you that.

My recommendation: give it a try. After all, most stores that offer this sex attractant offer a money-back guarantee. You have nothing to lose…

…and a whole new world of pleasure to win.

Fair bet, right?

For me though? Who needs Viagra when my wife’s pheromones invite me to go get them!
