If your house is on a very straight street, especially if your house is situated in the middle of a straight stretch of street, you will need to slow down the energy to encourage it to flow towards your property. One of the best ways to slow down chi is to grow live plants in front of your property. If you have the space for a large garden this can be as simple as making sure your garden is filled with large plants, if you don’t have the space hanging baskets or tubs filled with plants can work just as well. As energy moves fast in this type of environment, you will need to promote a sense of calm, so evergreens with pale flowers will work best.

Busy highways are full of yang energy that can disrupt the flow of positive and balanced chi. If your home is located on a busy street, you will need to slow down the power. Again, a large number of evergreens or pale flowering plants should be planted in front of your property. A road that leads away from your house

If the road turns away from your house, and especially if it turns sharply, chi can enter your house in sharp, uneven bursts.
